
ANH DILLON
Originally from France, Anh received her early extensive training in classical ballet at the Conservatoire in Paris, and later extended her passion to include jazz and modern. She moved to Los Angeles to pursue her professional career, which has included work ranging from music videos (Usher) and industrials (L’Oréal, Aveda), to commercials (PBS) and dance companies (Los Angeles Contemporary Ballet). She has also choreographed for stage shows (The 15th Annual L.A. Music Awards) and recording artists (Prince). Anh has been fortunate to teach and perform around the world - US, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, New Zealand, South Korea - for over a decade. Her experience and career led her to co-create and co-direct the online dance hub DancePlug.com.
Anh’s work with Terri Best Dance earned her the 2008 Lester Horton Award for Outstanding Achievement in Performance for Duet. As a founding member of the company, she has had the immense pleasure of assisting and working closely with Terri Best for years.

JOEY THAO
Joey is from Northern California, and started dancing in his high school dance company at the age of 15, receiving most of his training at the Northern California Dance Conservatory. In 2009, he graduated from the EDGE Performing Arts Center Scholarship program under the direction of Bill Prudich, Randy Allaire & Carol Connors. Joey has had the privilege of working with choreographers Cindy Welk, Peter Chu, Terri Best, Travis Wall, Donyelle Jones and Sabrina Phillips, and also performs with Joelle Martinec’s SoleVita Dance Company. His credits include: Nokia Theater's Christmas LIVE!, Peaches Christ Superstar, Paris by Night, Nickelodeon's Victorious and Big Time Rush, Lifehouse's Halfway Gone and a promo for the Disney Channel’s Camp Rock 2. As a member of Terri Best Dance since 2009, Joey has performed at the Dance Under The Stars Choreography Festival in Palm Desert, Pasadena Dance Festival, Celebrate Dance & has assisted Terri with several Annual EDGE Performing Arts Center Shows. He currently pursues a professional career as a freelance dancer and choreographer throughout the nation. Joey loves dance and enjoys every moment he gets to bare his soul on stage.

TESS HEWLETT
Tess is from Midway Utah where she began dancing at the age of 3, receiving the majority of her training from Wasatch Dance Center. During her time with them she traveled the country extensively for numerous workshops to further her growth as a performer and had the opportunity to be a featured dancer for the 2004 Nordic Ski World Championships in Germany. At 18, Tess decided to pursue a career in dance and moved to Los Angles upon acceptance into the scholarship program at EDGE Performing Arts Center. Her performance in the annual EDGE showcase allowed Tess to be scouted and signed by the very respected and established BLOC talent agency. Since graduating from the program, Tess has worked with artists such as: Jay Z, Lifehouse, David Guetta, LMFAO, and Chromeo, to name a few. In her time here in LA, Tess has also been privileged to lend her talents to many film and television projects including: High School Musical 3, Freak Dance and a Camp Rock 2 promotional commercial for the Disney Channel. Tess is a member of Erica Sobol's collidE dance as well as Terri Best Dance, and is looking forward to nurturing her dance career in LA.

DAVID CONTRERAS
David began his career as a dancer in his native Mexico City. He moved to Los Angeles to continue his training, and was accepted into the scholarship program at EDGE Performing Arts Center. After completion of the program, David toured Italy, Germany, Zurich and South Korea as a member of Adam Parson’s Commonality Dance Company. He has also worked as a dancer and aerialist with Terry Beeman’s Mental Head Circus. David has performed at the Latin Grammy Awards in Miami and New York, the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, the Middle East International Film Festival in Dubai, and has toured Mexico with opera singer diva Felippa Giordano. His movie credits include Romeo and Juliet and Dance Flick. David has had the pleasure of working with choreographers Liz Imperio, Otis Sallid, David Scott, Andre Fuentes, Kevin and Marcel Wilson, Cecilia Marta, Adam Parson, Terry Beeman and Terri Best. AUDREY DOUGLASS
Audrey grew up in Austin, TX where she studied multiple styles of dance for over 16 years. She moved to Los Angeles upon acceptance to the EDGE Scholarship Program in 2007 and to pursue a career in dance. Since graduating the program she has appeared on television shows such as Glee, Parks and Recreation, America's Got Talent and TV Land Awards. Her industrial and commercial credits include Nike, Sensa, Chevrolet GM and Hurley, and she can be seen in the music videos of Shakira, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Death Cab for Cutie. Her stage performances include dancing with the LA Opera in La Traviata, and performing as a Radio City Rockette in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Audrey has been a member of Terri Best Dance since 2008.

ZAREH MARKARIAN
Zareh is from Southern California, and began dancing at the age of 15 at Glendale High School. Upon graduation, he was awarded a scholarship to continue his training at EDGE Performing Arts Center, during which time he had the opportunity to perform the choreography of Miguel Zarate and JT Horenstein at the Academy of TV Arts and Science Tribute. Since completing the scholarship program, Zareh has danced with Seamless Dance Theatre in Kansas City, Odyssey Dance Theatre in Salt Lake City, and SoleVita and Terri Best Dance in Los Angeles. Zareh has also had the privilege of working with choreographers Michael Rooney, Travis Payne, Derryl Yeager and Jennita Russo and was featured in Jenna Bryson’s Clear and Kyle Puccia’s Message music videos. Marissa was born and raised in Portland, Oregon where she started dancing competitively at the age of 8. She has since gone on to dance professionally with Oregon Ballet Theatre, Pacific Festival Ballet, Northwest Professional Dance Project, LADF's Dance with the Force, and has toured with The Jefferson Dancers Company. Marissa is a graduate of the EDGE Performing Arts Center Scholarship program, and is currently signed with Go 2 Talent Agency. She has appeared on television (Rock the Reception), in music videos (Brad Standley and the Fireflies' Tik Tok Nation) and on stage (Mosaic, at the Ricardo Montalban Theatre), and has worked with choreographers Tabitha and Napoleon D'umo, Terri Best, Scott Hislop, Joelle Martinec and Garrett Minniti, among others. As member of Terri Best Dance, Marissa has performed at the 3rd Annual Pasadena Dance Festival at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, the 13th Annual Dance Under the Stars Choreography Festival at the McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert, and looks forward to her continued work with the company.

In 2005, she moved to the United States, where she continued her studies in jazz, modern and hip-hop, earning her certificate in choreographic studies and dance techniques from Glendale College. Further training at EDGE Performing Arts Center and with ballet master Stefan Wenta solidified her technique and passion for dance. She has appeared in musicals (Oklahoma; Alice in Wonderland), music videos (Poison, Hollie LA; Tell Me, Misty Rosas), and has had the opportunity to work with choreographers Benjamin Allen (the Avenger's half-time show), Louie Martinez (Carnival), Kenji Yamaguchi and Malaya among others. Rika joined Adam Parson's Commonality Dance Company in 2011, performing at The Nvitational, Celebrate Dance and numerous benefit shows. Her performances with Terri Best Dance include the 6th Annual Pasadena Dance Festival (Pasadena Civic Auditorium) Momentum (El Portal Theatre) and Dance From the Soul (benefit for Sendai). Rika also assists Terri Best's regular and workshop classes.
